This is such a ‘summer scrub, not only because it smells fresh and fun, but because it will help slough away that dry skin you might get from too much time in the sun (and pool)!

I think it is also awesome for underarms as it seems to keep my skin clearer with less ingrown hairs and  unsightly red bumps.

Makes: 130 g | 4.6 oz Prep time: < 5 min.

INGREDIENTS

2 lemons/limes – zest only (finely chopped and dehydrated)

75 g | 2.6 oz fine salt

45 g | 1.6 oz carrier oil (fractionated coconut oil and sweet almond oil are popular choices)

5-10 drops of essential oils

My choice of essential oils…

My favourite essential oils in this recipe are lemon, lime and orange, but don’t be limited by my suggestions. Use oils that fit your budget, or those that you already have in your collection. Read here for more information.

METHOD
  1. Add all ingredients to a bowl and mix until combined.
  2. Transfer into container of choice.

TO USE

Use in shower on wet skin and massage gently over entire body. Rinse with warm water.
